Castor Sugar



Super fine and great in baked goods, Teddy’s Castor Sugar melts into your confections. It’s texture is thicker than confectioner’s sugar, yet finer than table sugar. It liquifies quickly when added to beverages, which makes it a favorite for bartenders. Perfect in meringues, mousses, sorbets and custrads, as well as savory dishes like grilled mackerel with soy lime dressing or steamed bass and tomatoes with sardine and ketchup – your kitchen is incomplete without it.  It’s also known as Cane or Beet Sugar, and it’s called Castor sugar because the sugar granules are small enough to be sprinkled through a condiment dispenser known as a ‘caster’.
